Christos Foukaras – close to nature

Christos Foukaras lifelong work has always been an internal process of ripening and honing his ability to express artistic, philosophical and political themes and imagery, through a rich visual language.

His work is inspired by everyday life, the history, the myths, and the nature of Cyprus. While he often explored multiple subjects throughout his artistic  journey, his compositions and personal artistic style remains pure and clean while simultaneously adding to his figures and shapes a pulsing ray of colour and vibrancy.  His forms are simple and harmonically structured.
